Tue 15th: Landscapes in Paint

Let’s paint the town - Hockney-style! This vibrant and playful painting workshop explores bold colour, movement, and perspective as we bring landscapes to life in two exciting ways.

Morning, 10-1pm: Hockney-Inspired Acrylic Landscapes
Take inspiration from David Hockney’s iconic, colourful landscapes and create your own bright, expressive scene. Learn about underpainting, layering, and texture while experimenting with playful shapes and vivid colours that make landscapes pop.

Afternoon, 1-4pm: Watercolour Postcards from Imaginary Worlds
Pack your creative passport and paint a postcard from a world of your imagination. Is it a dreamy underwater city, a futuristic Mars colony, or a mystical floating island? Once your landscape is complete, write a postcard message to yourself from an alternate version of you, describing the world and what life is like there.
